Rational Unified Process

BizNetz Inspiration Methodology (BIM) was derived over a period of 10 years. It draws from the iterative nature and visual diagrams of RUP, and the flexibility and process guidelines of MSF. We have found due to the lower budgets on small projects and the quick turn-around needed for web-based projects a more adaptive and rapid methodology was needed. We add to formal use-cases RDSs (Rapid Design Sessions) that integrate requirements gathering with high-level design in a fluid way. Our structured methodology – BIM, is earmarked by numerous user prototypes and architectural proofs of concepts. In rapid development, sometimes you don’t know it until you see it. As deeper and deeper prototypes and proofs of concepts are developed, unit test harnesses and documentation emerges. BIM allows for innovation to drive iterations and inspiration to necessitate documentation. This methodology allows BizNetz to quickly traverse the path from Inspiration to Installation.
